Once a year, we close the office, step away from our desks, and trade our laptops for swimsuits!
Boat Day has become one of our favorite Banwell traditions! It is a chance to spend a day together outside the office, reconnect, relax, and enjoy New Hampshire’s beautiful lakes. No meetings. No deadlines. Just good company, sunshine, a great lunch and a little fun on the tube.
Even during this busy time, with projects moving full speed ahead, Ingrid makes sure we take this day out of the office. It is an important reminder that sometimes you need to put the work aside, get out of the office, catch up and enjoy each other’s company.
This year, we headed to Lake Winnipesaukee, where we were treated to a picture-perfect summer day. Brad and Tom took the wheel and kept us moving around the lake, while the rest of the crew enjoyed swimming, tubing, relaxing in the sun, and taking in the incredible scenery.
And, of course, no Banwell Boat Day would be complete without good food and drinks. Tom came prepared with some killer margaritas, and we eventually made our way to Lake House Grille for lunch. The duck confit tacos were a definite hit with the group!
Most importantly, Boat Day gives us something to look forward to during the nice weather and busy season at Banwell. Our projects keep us moving in different directions, so having a day to laugh, talk, and reconnect outside the office is something we really value.
We know that great work starts with a great team and sometimes the best team-building happens out on the water!
