Banwell Architects has been hired by Jay Peak of Jay, Vermont to complete a Master Plan for the new Stateside Base Lands. The plan will include: an 84-room hotel, 4-season day lodge, recreation center, rental center for skis and bikes and a mountain learning center and daycare. This will be a new separate base area from their existing Tram Base. Banwell has extensive experience in designing for the ski industry all over New England, California and Illinois. We are thrilled to be working with one of Vermont’s leading ski industry properties and to be a part of their exciting new development.
Banwell has also been selected as the architect for the new Barre City Place in Barre, Vermont. The new facility will be approximately 100,000sf and house multi-use tenants and is located in the heart of downtown Barre, VT.
