September 8th marked Banwell’s first official golf day! The team typically wraps summer up with their annual boat day, but this year, we competed in a friendly (and competitive) office scramble. On one team, we had Ingrid, Brad, Tom, and Matt; on the next team, we had Tim, Barb, Fritz, and Breanna.
We all played the Highland course at the Quechee Club, and while we weren’t sinking putts or looking for our golf balls, we were certainly taking in the beauty of the course and its surroundings. It was no surprise that Ingrid’s team came in first with an impressive score of 75.

After finishing our match, our team took a tour through Quechee to visit some of our completed projects with Quechee Lakes Landowners Association (QLLA) in the area. We stopped by the renovation of the Quechee Bath House at Lake Pinneo and the new Kids Club at Murphy Farm.
After a day of golf, our team headed to Trailbreak Taps + Tacos to refuel with margaritas and snacks! There is no doubt that we started a new tradition at Banwell this year with Golf Day and our teams are ready for our rematch new year!
